1965 Selmer Mark II Treble & Bass 50

Arguably one of the longest surviving amps in the Selmer catalogue, the Treble ‘N’ Bass underwent a make over in late 1965. Out went the croc-skin as black was in. There was very little change under the hood from the previous year; it quickly became a favourite amongst players, sitting somewhere between Vox and Marshall tonally.
This head is in great condition. Tolex shows some signs of wear but there are no repairs. The control plate too is in great shape. The decal has worn somewhat but is still legible.
Internally there have been some changes to keep the amp working but nothing too substantial. The latest bit of servicing was carried out by David Lane. The power lead has been changed.
Anyone in search of spanky cleans with plenty of character that morph into some quite rude overdriven tones with plenty of bite then look no further.
An often overlooked classic, this would make a great addition to any rig. Grab it before its gone…
