1964 VOX AC-10

Fresh in from Chris @ Rift amps after being serviced which included replacement of some filter caps and a rewind of the original output transformer. This amp is sounding great and ready to go!
The AC-10 was introduced in 1959 to fill the gap between the student AC-4 and the AC-15. 12 watts through a 10” speaker, the AC-10 Twin would be introduced in 1962 fitted with a second speaker. A simplified version of the AC-15, the amp featured a tremolo circuit and universal tone control.
Cosmetically in not bad shape, the original vinyl type has survived quite well with only minor damage around the edges and corners. The cloth is in good shape having only suffered some minor damage. The badge and handle are in good shape and all working fine.
The control plate is in good condition as are the plastics.
Internally there have been some recent repairs but nothing too substantial. Transformers are correct but the output transformer has been rewound as stated.
Both speakers are correct and work well.
Looking for that classic Vox chime at a reasonable volume or some British crunch for the studio? Then look no further.
Packing a lot of punch into a tiny package, this small wattage power house has a lot to offer...
